Participation Levels AstroAffiliates is a two-fold opportunity involving both commerce and content. Affiliates gain popular astrology content at no charge, enable their visitors to get their chart done online, and share in the revenue generated. Participation can be in the form of an Advertising, Standard, Combination (recommended!) or Custom Agreement - the choice is yours. The Advertising Affiliate Agreement * What: Commerce only, pay-per-sale on banner ads * Participation Requirements: None! Anyone can join! * Commission: 10 percent of sales * Description: The Advertising Agreement is for sites that are interested in hosting pay-per-sale advertisements. It is a great way to use up some of your unsold banner advertising space. Advertising Affiliates host banner or button advertisements that link to a ChartShop storefront. These storefronts feature our personalized astrology reports (delivered online in real-time). Astrology.Net tracks the sales and provides a commission to the affiliate. The Standard Affiliate Agreement * What: Content Only * Participation Requirements: 300,000 pageviews/month * Commission: None, content-only * Description: The Standard Agreement is a simple free exchange. We provide free daily horoscopes for your site. You establish a byline and promotional link to our ChartShop. With such constantly changing and engaging content, you will increase traffic and secure those elusive repeat visitors! The Combination Agreement * recommended! * What: Content AND Commerce * Participation Requirements: 300,000 pageviews/month * Commission: 10 Percent (scales to 20 with volume) * Sample Co-branded Storefront * Affiliate Examples * Description: This agreement combines the Advertising and Standard agreement to provide both content and commerce. The Combination Agreement is for sites that want free daily or monthly horoscopes with an embedded revenue stream. The affiliate hosts the content on their site, provides a byline for Astrology.Net, and provides a banner, button or text promotional link to the ChartShop. The promotional link points to a Chartshop storefront selling personalized astrology reports. The Affiliate receives a commission on every report sale generated by their link and a 6 month commission on every customer. The Custom Affiliate Agreement * What: Content AND Commerce * Participation Requirements: 2+ Million pageviews/month * Commission: 10 Percent (scales to 20 with volume) * Sample Co-branded Storefront * Affiliate Examples * Description: The Custom Agreement is similar to the combination agreement, but offers more content options. This agreement is reserved for larger websites (over 2M+ impressions/month) that reach a consumer audience. Participants gain access to a selection of astrology content and receive a generous commission on sales generated through a ChartShop storefront. Custom Affiliates may incorporate a comprehensive range of popular lifestyle content that would otherwise take months to produce and, as browsers turn into buyers, custom affiliates share in the sales they help generate. What We Do * Supply free content and/or advertising banners to affiliates; * Take orders through the affiliate's storefront and process the transaction; * Manage all customer questions and requests; * Track all affiliate referral sales; * Pay affiliates their referral commission. About the ChartShop Besides the short free sample which stimulates sales, report prices vary from $2 to $20 (average transaction is $15), and are 10-20 pages in length. Astrology.Net currently features over 20 different reports in categories such as love, money, career, personal, family, forecast, new age, women, men and more. We also feature foreign-language versions of these reports. These reports are very popular on our site and on partner sites. We are currently running over 12,000 free and paid reports a day. Each affiliate's referral sales are tracked in the Chartshop to enable accurate, pay-per-sale revenue sharing. Referral Commission Astrology.Net will pay AstroAffiliates a referral commission on eligible purchases according to commission schedules to be established by Astrology.Net from time to time. Under the current commission schedule, the referral commission for eligible purchases is 10 percent for first $1,000 of sales per month and 20 percent thereafter. Referral commissions will be paid to AstroAffiliates (less any taxes that Astrology.Net is required by law to withhold) approximately 45 days after the end of each calendar month. Higher commissions can be negotiated if the affiliate shares the ad revenue for their astrology pages with Astrology.Net. Tracking your Success Astrology.Net provides affiliates with a URL that carries their unique affiliate ID. Affiliates will use this URL for all promotional links into Chartshop. The ChartShop will recognize visitors you send using this referring URL, and once a user tries or buys a report, we will tag that user's email address with your ID. So, whether a purchase is made on the first visit or on a later visit, your account code will identify the sale as yours. Currently, affiliate sales reports are emailed on a monthly basis and detail the gross sales made by the affiliate, the number of free reports run through the affiliate's link, the number of paid reports and the affiliate's commission. Astrology.Net is currently working on a real-time, online sales report which, when finished, will replace this system.
