Void of Course Moon: Kelli Explores Karmic Connections
The planets are constantly in motion. Sometimes with everything going on in my life, I feel like I'm moving right along with them. In Astrology, meaning is extracted from the relationship of the planets to one another. I like the way that this parallels the relationships in our own lives. It reassures me and keeps it all in perspective.
The void of course Moon is quite unique: for a moment in time, when a planet is about to end its pass through a Sign, it stands alone -- isolated. It is free of any contact or connection with other planets. Maybe if we listen carefully enough we can hear the sigh as it pauses before the next cycle begins.
The Moon moves around the Sun passing through each Sign for about 2 ½ days or 30 degrees. Without delving too much into the math, that accounts for approximately 30 days in a month and the 360-degree rotation that the Moon makes (30 degrees x 12 Signs). The void of course Moon occurs at 27, 28 or 29 degrees in any House. You can see if you have a void of course Moon in your natal chart by running your FREE chart.
So I know what you're all waiting to ask. What about these karmic connections? Karma is the law of cause and effect. Our Karma site explores this further. When the Moon moves into its void of course position, it is the completion of a cycle and the brink of a new beginning. This is an incredibly karmically charged period in time. What goes around comes around holds true, as does the adage: as you shall sow, so shall you reap. The completion of the Moon moving through a Sign brings the results of your actions to the forefront.
As the karma kicks in and the Moon breaks free of any contact for a moment, I urge you to enjoy the charge that it creates. Get ready to delve into the next cycle. Are you ready?
