Has astrology changed over time? How?
In ancient times, astrology was a religion, an art and a science, and was practiced by scholars, doctors and priests. The spread of Christianity, which changed all religious and philosophical systems, caused the practice of astrology to remain with scholars and doctors. Then astronomy and psychology, both born out of astrology, became separate disciplines. In the early 20th century, Astrology experienced a revival in England led by Alan Leo and others. In 1930, newspaper astrology was born in the London Sunday Express. About 30 years ago, astrology became computerized, and today is making it's way on the Internet - a movement which will revolutionize the practice of astrology. In modern times, astrology is an art and a science, rather than a belief system. It is a tool for understanding yourself and others.
