How old is Astrology and what are it's origins?
Astrology began in ancient Mesopotamia. The earliest records of astrology have been found on cuneiform tablets from the First Babylonian Dynasty (1645 BC to 1625 BC). The earliest known horoscope date is 410 BC. Astrology spread from Mesopotamia into Egypt, China, Greece, Rome, the Middle East, and India. What many people don't realize is that even Greek and Roman gods are actually astrological archetypes with different names. For instance, Zeus is Jupiter and Apollo is the Sun.
