Neptune Stationary Direct

Imagine, visualize and get in touch with your spiritual side. Neptune rules everything that we can't see or touch. This is one of the outer Planets, the second to last in our solar system. Its cycle is 165 years and it spends 14 years in each Sign. It was discovered in 1846 and given the name Neptune, which is the Roman name for Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, horses and earthquakes. Although the god himself was male, as the ruler of the sea, he possesses many feminine qualities. Ruling Pisces and the Twelfth House, Neptune can be a benevolent, though sometimes violent and confusing, ruler. In January of 1998, Neptune moved into the Sign of Aquarius. While Neptune represents the intangible, such as dreams, intuition and glamour, Aquarius represents that which is forward thinking, radical and rebellious. Together they can make revolutionary dreams come true. With Neptune in Aquarius, there's a new way of thinking and an emphasis on nonconformity and doing your own thing. I did this by creating the Astrology.net Internet site. In the last two centuries, during the scientific revolution, Astrology and any other supposed "non" science were looked down upon. The integration of Astrology and the Internet, and its popularity, is a huge step. Nowadays people realize that not everything is black and white, and they're beginning to appreciate the beauty of shades of gray. Neptune has been traveling backward (retrograde) since May 6 of this year. Now that it's beginning to move forward (direct), things are falling into place. Everything under Neptune's rule is going to take a step forward. If you've been struggling with implementing that creative idea for the last few months, now is the time to put it into action! If the plot for your new novel has been swirling around in your head, this is the week to start writing! It's time for your dreams to become tangible ideas. Other Astrological Events: On October 16, Mars moves into Capricorn. Neptune and Mars have a very different energy. While Neptune is all about exploring options, Mars just wants to get moving. Procrastinators need not apply, as this Planet rules action, assertion and movement. Mars' cycle is 687 days, and it spends about six and a half weeks in each Sign. Mars' move into Capricorn creates a positive influence, because Mars is exalted in Capricorn, which stands for ambition, determination and drive. This contented couple is screaming the message, 'NOW!' This is a time for materialism and career, for doggedly climbing the corporate ladder until you become CEO. For the next month and a half, this is an auspicious time for Capricorns, Taureans, Cancers, Virgos and Scorpios. On a more personable note, the following animated go-getters all have their Mars in Capricorn: pretty woman Julia Roberts, funny lady Roseanne, Hollywood hotshot Steven Spielberg and dazzling vixen Sharon Stone. You can read all about these stars in Astrozine. To find out all about your Mars Sign, and how Neptune is affecting you, head toward our ChartShop for a personalized Astrology report.
