Production

Astrology.net, an iVillage company, is seeking a professional to join our growing Production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be involved in a successful and growing Internet company. The person who fills this position will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of current sites operated by Astrology.net and the production of new sites, content and features. This includes: - Performing regular content updates to the sites - Implementing content and design changes/updates - Producing special pages as needed for promotions/marketing - Producing pages and co-branded sites for affiliates - Reporting and repairing inconsistencies and technical problems - Monitoring sites on a regular basis - Producing banners, buttons and graphics - Assist in the development of specifications/documentation Requirements include: - Experience working on a commercial, high volume website - Very proficient and experienced with HTML 4.0 - In-depth understanding of browser compatibility issues - Familiarity with web-authoring tools (Homesite, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, experience with Fireworks is a plus) - Familiarity with ftp, browsers, Windows NT and Unix servers - Experience optimizing graphics for the web Astrology.net is an iVillage company (IVIL) and is located in the Pacific Heights district of San Francisco.
