Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
Secretive and inclined to brooding silences, it is difficult
for others to really know your inner core, for you trust and
open yourself to very few. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable
and to relinquish control in relationships is not easy for you.
You have intense, passionate loves and hates and are a
jealously loyal and protective friend - or a fearsome foe. You
have a nasty habit of holding on to past hurts, resentments, and
guilt - and to keep such feelings to yourself. It is important
for you to learn to forgive and let go, as well as to express
your feelings openly and directly, rather than hiding or
repressing them.
You are not content with superficial appearances and are
always probing beneath the surface of things for hidden motives.
You have a great deal of emotional depth.
You often make decisions solely for emotional or personal
reasons, because something "feels right" or because you've
always done it a certain way and you are uncomfortable changing
it. Even when you think you're being rational, your prejudices,
intuitions, and feelings influence your thoughts a great deal.
You are comfortable talking about feelings and personal
subjects, and sharing confidences, which enables others to
express their own inner feelings with you as well. You have good
psychological insight into others.
You are temperamental and impatient and can be very
difficult to live with. You tend to respond with a temper
tantrum (overt or subtle) if your desires are frustrated. You
become very irritable and bad-tempered if you do not have enough
vigorous physical activities or other outlets for your
aggressive, feisty spirit.
