Overview for October

In a recent lecture on the quarterly forecast for the next three months, I asked the audience at the end to out and make some "earthquakes" of their own!! In the next few weeks, particularly around October 3,4, mid-October from October 9 through October 15, and at the tail end of the month around October 31 and November 1, 1997, we are seeing a lot of shake, rattling, and rolling in our lives as well as in the world around us. For several months, several important planets have been appearing as though they are retrograding (looking backwards) in the sky, and they are in "stuck" positions in the sky right now attempting to go forward. The month of September has been the psychological walk through fire with many of us experiencing a very different view of consciousness. This different view is more practical, more devoted to our individual causes and holds the slightly uncomfortable position of staying with our principles even though we could easily fall into our old work, love, sexual, and compulsive patterns that really do not serve us. The challenge has been about how to stay with those people and things we love, yet, not lose ourselves, and yet not leave or move away from them, because we do not know any other way. (See last month's article which talks about Black Moon Lillith traveling through Virgo with the Eclipses). Now, in these next few weeks, those alternative schemes, themes, possibilities, for which we have been working, quickly present themselves to us as the dance before the seduction. We get to practice what we have learned in terms of human relations. We get to state that which we need without guilt. It doesn't mean we don't experience the guilt, we might. The challenge, particularly with transiting Mars having just entered Sagittarius, the sign of truth and directness, causing stresses to all the eclipse points particularly on the following dates: October 3, 4, October 12, 13, Mars the planet of action causes stress to the September 1, 1997 Solar Eclipse at 9 degrees of Virgo. Could there be more news about the Royal Household and The Windsors?? Continuing through the month, on October 14 through October 18, transiting Chiron, the wounded one who teaches causes a stress to transiting Uranus, the planet of awakening to our soul's purpose, sudden insights into drawing out conclusions outside of the box of our thinking, perhaps precipitated by some type of outside forces, like earthquakes, travel surprises, and some sort of seed towards revolution in government. Could it be that the long-awaited tax revolt is about to begin?? After all, this country, strongly Uranian revolutionaries, founded upon tax revolts and a boat full of tea!!! October 20 through October 22, 1997, we have a very strong full moon. Many people are talking about a strong shift in the stock market. They could be right since transiting Saturn, the planet of perceived limitation will be hanging around at the same time as Neptune, the planet of inflation and credit card debt. Could it be that people are buying and selling homes without a whole lot of value, but still getting loans and paper to support a false value?? To sum this political hodge podge up, October is the month to face facts, to take action on what you need to purge out of our lives. Maybe it isn't people, it is simply our old and outdated visions and belief systems. After all, at the end of January , 1998, Neptune the planet of vision and ideals, moves to another sign after 14 years. We are NOW walking across the bridge of our old lives to our new lives. Listen to your heart and act out in personal power and not in anger. And ask yourself, "What inside of me needs to die in order that I may be reborn?"
