2009 brings with it the Year of the Ox

2009 brings with it the Year of the Ox, under the specifications of the Chinese Zodiac. What does that mean for this year? What does that mean, in particular, for those who are and were born under the sign of the Ox? The Chinese themselves are already worried, specifically about money, financial security, and job security. This does not bode well. By and large, the United States is feeling optimistic because, while we are still in an economic crunch, quite a large number of people believe that President Elect Barrack Obama will bring the kinds of changes we need to stabilize and even strengthen our economy. But is their optimism misplaced? The existence of Pluto in Capricorn has a lot of people wondering — and worrying. There is a strong suggestion that things may get much, much worse before they start getting better. One can only hope that the brute strength and perseverance inherent to the Ox itself will help see us through this year.
