Johnny Depp

Stud Cinema's latest bad boy probably doesn't care if you like his movies or not, but chances are you will. Gemini Johnny Depp has pouted and sneered his way through a slew of small films including Edward Scissorhands and What's Eating Gilbert Grape. He's even played opposite Marlon Brando (in Don Juan de Marco). His best-known roles, however, are those of hotel room terror and chick magnet. What do the *stars* have to say about the man bold enough to play gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson in his latest film? Birth details: June 9, 1963 Owensboro, KY Born under a Gemini Sun, Depp is nothing if not versatile, a facile communicator happy to do three things at once. Talking is sport for this charming young actor as his Sun trine Saturn allows him to appear knowledgeable on most any subject. It's Depp's Capricorn Moon which makes him ambitious and gives him the ability to wait for things to come to him. It's not random, though - this is a man with a plan, someone who is setting the table for the ultimate feast. Having Mercury conjunct Venus in Taurus enhances his Moon, which means that Depp also knows what he wants in the love department. This touchy-feely sort can communicate exactly what he wants to his lover, and it's surely plenty! Even so, good food is as much an aphrodisiac as good sex to the studly Depp. Depp's darker side comes to light via Uranus, Mars and Pluto in Virgo. This makes for a mean streak which is smoothed over by mannered Virgo. There's no mistaking, though, that underneath this slick veneer is someone who could lose it if the housecleaner messed up his desk. With this planetary alignment, Depp would be well served to tread lightly, although some might be attracted to this edgy aspect of his personality. Thanks to his Sun squaring Pluto, the man who is bringing fear and loathing to Las Vegas is as intense as Hunter S. Thompson, whose drug-and-booze-addled personality he so vividly portrays on the big screen. Thompson may be a formidable presence, but Depp's no shrinking violet: with his Venus making an out-of-sign square to Uranus, Mars and Pluto, the actor is an absolute stud in the bedroom, which is why he's our stud of the week!
