Suddam Hussein

The Middle East would be interesting enough without Saddam Hussein on the scene. Born under a Taurus Sun sixty years ago, the President of Iraq trusts no one, never sleeps at home (those Presidential palaces go largely unused) and is a terror at staff meetings (he is said to have killed generals who disagreed with him on the spot). So why are his people so loyal to him? Well, Hitler was a Taurus, too, and he had a pretty big fan club for a while. Read on and see what the *stars* have to say about this very bad boy. Birth Details: April 28, 1937 6:00pm Tikrit, IRAQ With his Sun in Taurus, Hussein is a very possessive individual, which may be why he wanted to control Kuwait. The fact that Taureans are also stubborn explains why he didn't want to give it back. The fixed quality of this sign means that its members place a high value on material possessions, so Hussein may never feel as if he has enough weapons of mass destruction in his arsenal. Bad, indeed. The Iraqi leader also has his Moon and Mars in Sagittarius, making him a real "I can do this!" kind of guy who won't listen to anyone. As his Moon is closely aligned with Mars, the Planet of War, he feels good about fighting. Hussein's Sun is closely aligned with the Planet Uranus, which indicates rebellion. Anything unpredictable and unexpected fits our boy to a T. Bad, bad stuff. Where love and passion are concerned, Hussein's Venus is in Aries, making him a selfish sort and possibly explaining why he made widows out of his two daughters in one particularly calculated and ruthless move. The key to Hussein's chart, though, remains that Moon Mars combination in Sagittarius. This planetary alignment makes him a very dogmatic individual, one who has created his own philosophies and believes in his own ideals regardless of what the rest of the world thinks. However, the fact that this duo is making a hard aspect to the Planet Neptune represents illusion and the likelihood that the Iraqi President is kidding himself in the end. This may be the only good news about our bad boy of the month!
